Jane’s paternal aunt Pauline was an internationally-renowned fashion designer in New York throughout the mid-20th century. Known for her striking styles that continue to be seen today, Pauline worked alongside Jane’s father, Sioma (Robert). Pauline was a great inspiration to Jane.
