The Deerfield Arts Bank is pleased to announce its inaugural exhibition, “Close to Home.” The exhibit’s grand opening and artists’ reception will be Sunday, April 6, 2:00 to 4:00 pm. The show will run until May 29.

“Close to Home,” curated by Amherst artist Terry Rooney, will feature mostly Deerfield artists including Candace Bradbury-Carlin, Bryan Higgins, Alicia Renadette, Jane Trigère and Marcia Rossi Wise.  “The goal of the Deerfield Arts Bank is to offer many opportunities to showcase the work of local artists,” Rooney emphasizes.

“This exhibit will take us on textural and spiritual journeys through various media: featuring impressionist paintings of water, reuse of rescued fabric history, recycled materials, mixed media clay and textile installations,” explains Jane Trigère, the Deerfield Arts Bank founder and participating artist.
